I’m just wondering if the Choc switches available here; Key switch - Ultimate Hacking Keyboard are the Kailh Choch v2 low profile switches? Ie., these? ↓
If it’s so, the red should be the linear one, correct?
Yes, they’re the linear Kailh Choc V2 Red switches.
I just want to warn you, in case you don’t already know; the UHK60 doesn’t use the Choc switches at all, and the upcoming UHK80, only uses a total of four of the Chocs (on the very bottom row of the thumb clusters - Fn2/Space/Mod/Fn2).
All the others are standard MX style switches. The Chocs are NOT compatible with the MX hotswap sockets.
EDIT:
Also, the MX style sockets are NOT compatible with any low profile switches. The only “low-ish” switches known to work are these “medium” profile Tecsee switches:
Here’s another thread showing off the Tecsee mediums:

Ah. So they’re listed in the shop due to the UHK 80 bottom thumb row only. I knew the Dygma Raise had choc switches in that position. Thanks for informing me about this. I thought Choc version 2 suddenly looked a bit similar to MX on the stem, but won’t be making the mistake now then…
I know about the Tecsees. It’s an interesting option but I thought their tactile bump was a tad bit heavy for me personally, looking at the graph. I’ve been ordering some alternatives, albeit 3.5 mm travel, closer to 30 gf instead. I’d really like low profile switches for my new UHK 60, but it seems that it hasn’t dawned on the MX world to give anything suchwise a fly. Hope someone will do like Tecsee soon and make some more hybrid LP’s with alternative gF curves! For folks with MX boards! (Kailh?) … Be there nary a typist waiting for this? Mayhaps there’s a large silent unsaturated market!
