Yesterday’s procrastination.
Oiled black walnut. From the bottom side they are flat, and attached with a double-sided tape.
(This is not an official product prototype, although I might start making some variant as a private initiative.)

Absolutely beautiful Karel!
That completely changes the whole vibe.
I would sign up for this for sure! I really like the wood palmrests for my UHK60. And black walnut is inspired - would look great.
So pretty! Amazing work, @kareltucek!
Looks gorgeous! If I would have or want palm rests I would love those.
I would absolutely buy these if they were available for UHK80.
WOW, these really look nice. Great work.
damn.. Even with my bubbling rubber palm rest on my 80 I am still a rubber believer… But this does make my conviction faulty just a little.
Irresistible. While still undecided over the UHK-80, this would win me over.
@kareltucek, what keycaps do you have on? It looks a bit like MT3 especially the legends font. But I suspect it’s not as tall.
These are mt3s
Do you have a battery? Or are these taped onto the plastic insert?
I’m tempted to make these when I have a free weekend. Did you trace the rubber pads?
Yes, I have battery.
No, I have removed the plastic inserts. Thee pads are taped on the edges of the metal switch plate.
Kind of. I had traced earlier hard plastic 3d printed prototypes of the pads.
Another (cheaper, faster and more sustainable) option is to make them out of 5mm plywood. Especially with a laser cutter it may be an efficient way of producing them, although the resulting effect isn’t as posh as with these. (Have one such pair in the office, just haven’t got around to take pictures yet .)
