UHK60 v2 LED Display Unable to Fully Light

Hi All,

So the LED display doesn’t light fully ie when the UHK Agent is loaded on my laptop, the keyboard does not light the corresponding symbol on the LED display. For example, If my keyboard layout is called QWM, the Q does not fully light and leave O displayed.

Any help would be apprectiated, thanks!

The FFC cable of the LED display may be partially unseated. Please disassemble your left UHK half and reseat it.

Thanks for replying, the cable looks fully seated. How do you open the clasp to release the cable so I can reseat it? Thanks.

The UHK 60 LED display utilizes LIF (low insertion force) FFC connectors, so you must pull/push the cables with reasonable force. There’s no clasp.

It may also be damaged and need replacement. I had to replace mine once - reseating wouldnt help - bought them on aliexpress.

(I am disassembling my devices fairly often, so it is not surprising.)

So a reseat didn’t work. I guess I’ll have to replace the cable. Could you confirm the amount of pins, so I can order the correct cable. Thanks.

I swapped the cable. The display is still in the same state.
