UHK 80 audible noise recall is available

Hi guys,

Some of you complained about the high-pitched noise the UHK 80 generates.

If it bothers you, please contact us. We’ll recall your UHK 80 and replace the main boards with ones that contain tantalum capacitors, practically eliminating the noise.

We’ve been shipping UHK 80s with tantalum capacitors since 2025-02-21 and haven’t received any complaints since then.

Thanks for your patience regarding this matter! We don’t only develop new products but keep improving the existing ones, and we hope it shows.

I had my keyboard recalled a few weeks ago and had it promptly returned.

I can confirm that the noise is practically eliminated. I am very happy with the performance of my UHK80 since this. And as much as it pains me, I have not used my UHK60s since the return.

I also got my recalled UHK80 back yesterday, thanks! The excessive noise problem is gone. Now I can turn on the LEDs while the keyboard is connected via USB-C.

I also got my UHK80 back yesterday. The waiting time was very short, all the touch caps were positioned exactly as they were. Unpack, connect, restore the configuration and work without any beeps.

should we disconnect the batteries before sending, or even not send the batteries?

I sent mine with batteries. I asked and was told to.

The noise is gone, and the recall process was smooth. DHL picked it up from my place and I got it back one week later.
