Newbie to this, considering getting my UHK. I just have a quick question:
Looking at the key layout in the agents demo, below the left mod key is the space key, which appears to be part of the case? Same thing on the right hand side.
So my understanding is this: there are two physical key that are built into the case of the keyboard (how does that work?): by default they are the left space and the right mod?
Correct. In addition to the two regular space buttons (left space and right space - in the default configuration they are mapped to mod and space) you also get the two case buttons below (on UHK60).
In Agent you can freely configure the actions of all those buttons.
It’s so cool that this keyboard can be changed to do whatever you want.
I configured both of them such that the key is a space if pressed, and a “mod” if held. The ones on the case are always a space on both sides, so I can have a repeating space bar if I need one.
