Key Stroke Heatmap

Is there a way to get a “heatmap” like feature in the UHK Agent? Similar to Introducing Heat Maps

I can vaguely remember that we considered this feature, but we haven’t made any progress, and I doubt it’s worth allocating resources for it.

Would be interesting information… but probably better things to spend time on..
I have to admit this is pretty cool though https://www.youtube.com/shorts/du34yIqjivc

Well, do you really want a tap on a key to make all nearby keys hotter? I would expect for statistical purposes not.

Anyways, it shouldn’t be hard to implement. I would almost say ideal beginner project  .

You could use a keylogger (not the bad ones  to gather that information. There are several programs for that. I used one for a while to see which keys I press most.

Could you recommend a keylogger that meets the following needs?
I’m looking for a tool that can:

  • Log both individual key presses and key combinations (e.g., Ctrl+Alt+P)
  • Record the exact timestamp when each input occurred
  • Capture the active window title or application at the time of each key press or combination

Ideally, it should work reliably on Windows. Thank you!
