Future Suggestion: Web-based UHK Agent

Recently certain gaming mouse companies have started doing web-based configuration pages for their new launches, (primary examples being FinalMouse and Ninjutso/Sprime). The goal of this is ideally to reduce the amount of applications running on one’s PC, and if changes need to be made you can open up a webpage and change the polling rate/dpi which just gets exported to the device automatically. I don’t think this is that big of a deal for the UHK since you don’t need to really keep it open or have it open on startup, but I’m just curious if this is something that has been explored or might be down the road?

Yes, it’s planned: Implement WebUSB for Agent-web · Issue #408 · UltimateHackingKeyboard/agent · GitHub

But the web platform doesn’t expose every OS feature we’ll need, so the desktop application is our priority.
