Hi!
From what I’m seeing, the only difference between ANSI and ISO layout in UHK is left shift size? I was wondering if it is possible to convert ANSI to ISO and vice-versa?
Cheers,

The switch (or the socket) below would be soldered in a different position. Maybe the plate is different too. I don’t think it’s an easy job to change this.
eh, thats a bummer, another UHK incoming with ANSI layout, and the current one has ISO
I guess I’ll remap the key next to the left shift to function as a left shift as well and see how that goes
Should be quite easy, although you will need to cut the switch plate, which also means almost fully disassembling your UHK.
Once that is done, you will need to issue the agent write-hardware-config.ts
script (with correct parameters) to tell the keyboard that it is now the other layout. Please let us know if you get this far - I am afraid the script may be poorly documented.
thank you! now I know what to look for in the shop, they do sell extra plate, plus the key cap, switch and I’m done.
will report back on the script

Soldering is needed for the UHK 60 v1.
not much to report, took the repo, followed the instructions, now I have ISO layout, thank you so much =)
EDIT:
new discovery, go to about page, click 7 times on UHK agent logo → new menu, advanced settings on the left → pick layout
Excited to see this is possible. I originally bought the ANSI layout because it’s what I am familiar with, but I now wish I had the extra keys instead of a couple larger keys. I’m tempted to give this a shot myself
It is exactly 1 extra key.
(the one between left shift and Z)
The perfect spot for some arrow keys, I don’t have much use for the default alt, control, command, shit buttons since I’m using home row mods, but I do miss using arrow keys without having to think about layer switching, just having them there has been the hardest part for me
