Agent in System Tray?

I’d really love to have that little dude tucked away, yet ready to go on-the-fly with the tap of a hotkey. :smiling_face_with_sunglasses: Especially with the new Zephyr logging…

Maybe with a little warning badge :warning: when it receives an error…

Also, while I’m at it…
I think I’ve asked this somewhere before, but is it possible to make a portable-ish version of Agent that we can carry on a flash drive? If only for config changes?

I like the idea of the app indicator. It can also notify us when an update is available (firmware or agent).

Yeah, I’d like something like this too. On the Mac, apps are hidden with cmd-h, and I would love to be able to hide the app with that. Today I cmd-tab, then shift-tab, then press ‘h’ to hide the app. Would be nice to have a better way, and yes, a way to have it in the menu bar on the Mac (system tray on Windows) would be great.

I just tried the Trayy app. It’s definitely useful, but I still have to use the mouse to close/minimize apps to the system tray. If I use ALT+F4, it just fully closes the apps, and Win+M or Win+down arrow sends them to the taskbar like normal. Of course I can use Win+B to focus the system tray to open it, but ehhhh…

If anyone knows of something similar (not AHK) with more functionality and not too complicated, I’d love to hear about it. Of course, it would be awesome if it were baked into Agent though…

Also, I really hope we’ll eventually get an Agent Icon on the UHK80 OLED when Agent is open.
:sunglasses:

I’m not sure whether Agent will work off a flash drive.

Ah, thanks for that.
Now I remember it being mentioned along with auto-keymap switching features, etc.. I need to go back and read through the adaptive mode related stuff again.
