Adding backward and forward functionality

Does anyone have a macro or other config that allows for the backward/forward functionality that is usually on mouse buttons 4/5?

You can map those mouse buttons, or you could probably also map “History back” and “History forward”. It’s what I use to navigate browser history from some keys.

I was not aware that the mouse button 4 and 5 are set default to that function. I am using Alt-LeftArrow and Alt-RightArrow (as such or mostly assigned to the MOD layer). We are keyboard lovers and use keyboard shortcuts, don’t we?
