HDMI KVM Switcher Hotkey Support

Can we disable nkro on the fly now in UHK60V2 and UHK80? I have also this problem with the kvm with a UHK60V2.

Unfortunately no.

GitHub - brianhsu/firmware at disableNKRO fork is the best next thing though

But I want to mention one thing. I have the problem that when the machine goes into sleep that then it is not possible to wake the machine up with the keyboard.
My KVM is a tesmart and this is not a cheap one.

I see. The fork is not from UHK. Why dont you integrate the changes not via pragma into the UHK repo? It seems that only 3 files are changed.
And is this also so with nkro on the UHK80?

Because the code doesn’t support switching between nkro and 6kro.

Uhk80 should be able to fall back to 6kro when the host doesnt support nkro, however it is probably broken.

The main issue with implementing the solutions is scarce availability of our usb expert.

Thanks for sharing this information. The reason that I want to build the source in the first place lays in exactly this, that I can help myself in case something is broken or dont work in my configuration.

I also looked through the USB Interface and it is well designed. I like it.

It’s just a pitty that the problem of getting the source code working has now been closed in Github, as I actually planned to at least test the keyboard on Mac, Win and Linux and could reported problems.

I work on USB too but it is more with USB hubs.
