Bought the UHK80 as soon as I saw the newsletter

I just want to say: THANK YOU. Finally, real F-keys and an arrow set, and some blank keys around the up arrow for the Thinkpad muscle memory. And wireless.

Concerns:

  1. what about OLED burn in on the display? it will be displaying the same stuff most of the time.
  2. is it possible to set a max charge % of the battery so that they’re not at 100% all the time when plugged in? (bad for battery life)
  3. I hope the (hopefully easily removable) wrist rests don’t make it too bulky to put in my backpack. Also, wonder if floating key design will hold up against being knocked around in backpack.

I tried out Keychron but VIA/QMK is just not competitive. But I still do miss those arrow+function keys. This UHK80 will change all that. Can’t wait.

We implement screen shifting, and you can set short fade timeout

It will be possible eventually. At the moment, battery management is not implemented yet.

Unfortunately they are not removable - they are part of the keyboard, and store the batteries.
